The Town of Bar Nunn is accepting applications for a Utility Billing Clerk. This position is responsible for utility account administration, customer service, payment processing, and assisting residents with water utility billing questions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with the public and handling financial information accurately.

• Process utility billing payments and maintain accurate account records
• Assist residents with utility billing questions and account inquiries
• Prepare billing adjustments, account updates, and service requests
• Maintain customer account information and records
• Assist with meter reading data entry and utility reporting
• Balance daily receipts and assist with financial reconciliation
• Answer phones and provide general customer service support
• Perform related clerical and administrative duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to learn municipal utility billing software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Previous utility billing, municipal, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
• Experience working with utility software systems
