- Position Summary
The Town of Bar Nunn is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position serves as a key support role within Town Hall and assists with a variety of administrative, customer service, and clerical functions that help keep municipal operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment while providing excellent service to the public.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff in person and by phone
• Answer questions and direct inquiries appropriately
• Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning, and records management
• Process payments and receipts
• Assist with meeting preparation and administrative projects
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Provide support to Town Hall departments as assigned
• Perform general office duties and other related tasks
- Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous office or administrative experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Municipal experience is a plus but not required
